5 million Iraqis have been displaced from their homes since the start of the war. 2.5 million have fled the country, most do not consider returning to their homeland an option. The Iraqi refugees are among the most traumatized in modern history. 80% have experienced the death of a family member, torture, or kidnapping. Among the most traumatized are the children.
