Just wanted to post a short note here for those waiting for an update. Hubby’s home, but we’re not quite out of the woods yet. He’s got a staph infection and since he’s high-risk for MRSA, we have to monitor him carefully. The kids are doing better since Daddy’s finally home — those 5 days felt like an unbelievably long time to them. We are all breathing easier, Thank You, Lord.

take care, mr. and mrs. p!
hope B. feels better, FAST. it’s so unsettling when a beloved’s in the ospital, ‘no, especially for that long…hi to the kids, from all of us.
thanks for the warm thoughts, stel. waaah. i want to drive to boston when bong is better…. pero malabo pa. maybe sometime next year. it would be good to see you guys again. pasyal naman kayo dito sa Midwest! libre stay:D
I am glad your honey is home, stef. I’ll be praying for the infection to go away.
God Bless.
Glad to know he’s home! At least you can better monitor his food – much better than in… 😛
Good to hear he’s home and definitely watch out for MRSA. My 2 year old picked it up somewhere and passed it around before the doctors figured out what it was. Now I’m hearing about it everywhere and it’s not pleasant. Warm heat applied 3x a day kept mine from getting worse and I didn’t need antibiotics, so try that if you find it.
Glad to hear he is home Stef! You guys take care 🙂
Rebecca, Karen, Christan and joey — thanks so much for the well wishes. The wound itself is healing very well and almost completely closed up now — sans stitches!! — I am so amazed at this wonder of God’s creation — the human body. Just incredible.
