[here it is roasting in the oven — it was too cold outside to fire up the grill, so i set it on a roasting pan where the fat could drain away. The meat was okay but didn’t live up to my expectations — argh! haven’t had a decent gyro in years! — I had found a very good recipe when we still lived in Ohio in ’99, but unfortunately I didn’t keep a copy and I can’t find it online anymore.
