This isn’t a food post but people have been asking to see pics…. so here it is.
October 8, 2005, Saturday, Clayton, MO.
So that it’s not totally out of place, I will tell you that we enjoyed cocktails a few hours after the wedding, where 2-bite spanakopitas, spicy chicken sates and mini-smoked-salmon quiches were served. We polished those off, and then enjoyed the chateaubriand and baked chicken that came for dinner, with pilaf and steamed veggies on the side. I may be completely wrong on the menu — that’s how it tasted to me anyway LOL. Their cake was a 4-tiered (?) chocolate and raspberry mousse creation, decorated with fresh autumn-colored roses. Beautiful, and a delight on the tongue as well. Dancing after. The photographers who had never attended a Filipino wedding before, said “Boy! You guys sure know how to party!”. I guess we’ll take that as a compliment.
I noticed there were a few who weren’t named (where are you in the picture?–). I am guessing Bong is the other part of the..??
hi ting, i’m not in the pic (i was the one who took it)… bong is my “better half” and alvin is my brother who comments here at times:D
Hi Stef! Yup, that is sunset orange alright! Please call me, I can’t find your phone number! Did Aisa make her dress? It’s beautiful.
yes, mia, aisa sewed that dress — that was her confirmation dress so she wore it to the noontime wedding where she was the lector. tapos she sewed another dress for the evening reception — really lovely and elegant, a purple/lavender creation. s’ya nag-design and everything — simple cut, etc. padalhan kita ng pic pag meron na (katangahan ko i didn’t bring my camera to the reception).
The Wedding was great! St. Joseph’s Church on Clayton.. then reception was held at the Ritz also on Clayton. Lots of good food (The smoked salmon and the barbeques spicy chicken was good!!!) followed by the steak/chicken dinner (No vegggggiies foo meeee!)
