Lord Jesus, you who are the Resurrection and the Life,
we ask you to hear our prayers for all those
who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith,
especially those who are dear to our hearts:

Welcome the faithful departed home to Your loving presence,
with our Mother Mary, Saint Joseph
and all the angels and saints.
There may they enjoy forever Your promised reward of everlasting life. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace. Amen.
