Lentil soup, flavored with Pinot Noir, oranges and Spanish chorizo. Faintly spicy and deeply satisfying. Perfect when temps start to fall. August 15.

Can you send me the recipe for this? I have some lentils to use and this sounds REALLY good!!
Where do I find the recipe on your blog? This looks very good! Thanks.
hi mila and becky, i’ll post the recipe and exact amounts when i get back, my notes are at home. it’s a basic lentil soup recipe — garlic, onions, and the sausages. Other aromatics like celery and/or carrots if you like, a bit of water or chicken stock to cook the lentils. When the lentils are tender, add the chopped up oranges (or blood oranges) and Pinot Noir (or other full-bodied red wine), let simmer for a bit more and serve. Sorry about not posting a recipe when I posted the pic, I was cleaning out my folder and meant to post the recipe later. I’ll edit the post when I get back home — Thanks for visiting!
I just found where this recipe came from! I was going through old magazines and there it was. It was in the April 2005 edition of real simple.
