4 centaurea cyanus “Polka Dot” babies today. 3 left in the mini-greenhouse.
More and more sprouts! Batface cuphea, cuphea mineata, Purple Majesty Millet,
starting to get the feeling that if I blink, I’ll miss it.
2 of the crocuses got eaten by SOMETHING, though. I have no idea if it was a bunny or something else.

How many times a day do you check on your babies?
I remember as a first time mom, how I could hardly take my eyes off that baby, I wanted to be there every single moment — when she opened her eyes, when she stretched out an arm, when she made a gurgling sound, etc., etc….
This is sooooo much worse (or better depending on how you look at it)! Not only am I a freshman wintersower, but I’m the now the mom of hundreds of these babies! ACK! I’ve been checking my flats everyday since March, but the past few days I check them, spray a bit here and there and just LOVINGLY LOOK AT THEM 3 or 4 times a day!
It’s a good thing these babies don’t have to wear diapers!
