Mussels with Sumiso Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shiro miso
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons sake
- 4 tablespoons water
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 4 teaspoons hot English mustard
Instructions
- Preheat broiler or grill.
- Whisk all sauce ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring. Remove from heat, and spoon over mussels.
- Place mussels on broiler pan. Broil until slightly brown and surface is drying out, a few minutes. Serve hot.
