Did young children in previous eras have tantrums like today’s toddlers?

All toddlers throw tantrums. The reasons may be different, the manner and intensity of the tantrum may be different, but toddlers throw tantrums because they’re testing the limits. The parents’ response will partly determine whether the child matures or stays a perpetual toddler.
