The 4Realers have been talking about to-do lists, so I thought I’d put mine here for accountability purposes LOL:
- Mail the rest of the Christmas cards (7).
- Make coconut milk (there was no canned coconut milk available that didn’t have preservatives).
- Have another attempt at making puto bumbong without special equipment.
- Start the panettone so we have it for Christmas Eve, midnight, or day.
- Make coconut sauce for mussels
- Make empanada filling
- Pack cookies and other food gifts for mailman, our priests, and other friends
- Wrap the rest of the gifts
- Bottle the atsara
- Marinate beef for morcon
- Do laundry
- Read Advent/Christmas books to the kids
- Bake the layers for the Jesus cake
- Buy ingredients for mulled wine, if I still feel like it
- Cook dinner for tonight, and lunch and dinner for tomorrow, and lunch for Monday
- Go to Mass
- Bring the rest of the Christmas decorations upstairs
…. and that’s it for now….
Sunday:
- Maybe bake another kind of cookie or two, just because.
- Start ensaymada
may you and yours have a most blessed Christmas!
