I’ve just been FINALLY watching the BBC production of P&P (I love it so much more than the 2005 version), and everything I’m reading tonight, everything that I’m writing, is echoing in my head WITH A BRITISH ACCENT! I can’t get it out of my brain! Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy are reading my post on Filipino eggrolls. Or I should say Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. Either way, they sound hilarious, but strangely comforting. Argh. I sure hope this doesn’t happen to me after I finish reading/watching Don Quixote.

Hi Stef! Am a fan of Jane Austen and anything british 🙂 My favorite is Colin Firth. You should watch the american version with Laurence Olivier, I thought they were in Tara!
You know I have never seen this production Stef, but I would really love to, just to see if it lives up to it’s reputation and to see if this Mr Darcy is everything he is reputed to be!!
I have also tagged you for a meme if you are up to it. If so, the instructions are at my blog.
Mine too, Malou! I haven’t seen the Olivier version, but that’s my friend’s favorite! I don’t think I can watch another P&P production though without comparing to Colin. He’s the standard now in my eyes.
Annie! You should see it! It’s sooo good. Thanks for the tag by the way.
