One of the messages that has stuck with me through the years is from fellow homeschooling mom Kim who wrote at an e-list we belonged to about blooming where we are planted. I have held on to that the past two moves and it has helped me tremendously in accepting and being thankful for being exactly where I am at the moment. Hopefully we will be staying put for a long while. Yet I have to admit I sometimes harbor a desire for another assignment, on foreign shores…. so it was a blessing to read this this morning: Bloom Where You Are Planted, from Patrice Fagnant-MacArthur.
LOL. So clever. Love it! (pro-life)

Definitely not for feminists:).
Oy. And you wonder why we’re keeping our kids out of the public schools?
Was your catechism incomplete in any way? Mine was, in LOTS of ways. And I went to Catholic school for TWELVE YEARS. There are many Church teachings that I still don’t know or understand. That’s why I love Sister Mary Martha. She explains things so succinctly, and keeps you laughing with every word. I think I’ll make her posts a daily requirement around here.
I’ll check out those links. Thanks.
I went to Catholic school(s) for about 8 years…and yes, I admit my memories of Church teachings is blurry… and incomplete.
