now, if i can only follow through:
– homeschooling: added composer of the month and artist of the month. so far so good! they’re excited about Giotto. paco wants to go the National Gallery of Art to see his painting(s). Also doing the egg tempera activity with them at the end of the month.
gotta get back to painting/drawing on a regular basis.
– Composer of the month: Vivaldi. Kids got enthused with Vivaldi after hearing Classical Kids. Paco pushed for violin lessons, so now he and Aisa are taking them. $15 a pop, not bad, but probably only during the warmer months. Great finds on eBay Vivaldi recordings!!! Can’t wait to get them! The other 2 (Jaime Laredo & Neville Marriner) can wait. Can’t wait to get Paco his first permanent (not a rental) violin on eBay! Man! Some of the prices there are unbelievable! Violins selling for $60 and $80!!! When retail price for a violin is $500-$600!!! I wonder if these stores know what kind of competition they have.
– Need to research more on wheat-free/dairy-free. Baka naman ito talaga ang calling ko re cooking. Excited about making my own rice noodles and trying out that puto recipe. FINALLY!!!
ok – got to get to work.
