Bo Sanchez is also a Filipino Catholic homeschooler who obviously has much to say on the subject:) — we were introduced to his writings by good friends from CFC-Cincinnati. Our 16-yo loves listening to/watching his talks (their couple coordinators use Bo’s YouTube recordings occasionally in their discussions).
There’s a Catholic Pinoy homeschooling yahooGroup that I’m in, though I haven’t been active on the list for years… but in case you’re interested, here’s the url: Catholic HS Phil-Asia Pacific-World
I’m also trying to compile a list of Filipino homeschoolers, esp. those who are either Catholic and/or blogs — so if you know of anyone, please let me know or pass this request along to them. Thanks!
Hi Bo Sanchez,
A God Blessed Day to you.
I was touched by your write-ups on Home Schooling that I convinced my wife that it will be the best option for our son’s education, he is now 3 years old. However, CFA does not seem to be ready to facilitate students from abroad, we are Filipinos living in Singapore. The inquiry for application alone was in months. When finally we were able to make the necessary payments and submission of necessary papers, it has already been a month but the documents promised has not yet been delivered nor was there any advisory of its status. I would like to request your assistance as we are having difficulty with the school faculty. I am not sure how connected you are with CFA but is hoping for you kind consideration for this request. My wife fears on the stability and reliability of the school, based on the manner on which we were treated. And our son’s education is very much high in our priorities.
Thank you.
sincerely,
Quintin Silverio Jr.
